DESCRIPTION:Quantum computers have the potential to break much of the publi
c-key cryptography that protects today's Internet. Although large-scale qu
antum computers do not yet exist\, organisations are already preparing for
the day they become a reality.\n\nThis session provides a practical intro
duction to Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC). We'll separate hype from reali
ty\, explain what quantum computers can and cannot do\, discuss the "Harve
st Now\, Decrypt Later" threat\, and introduce the new generation of stand
ardised PQC algorithms.\n\nFinally\, we'll explore where PQC is already be
ing deployed—from TLS and IPsec to X.509 certificates and DNSSEC—and w
hat these changes mean for network engineers\, security professionals\, an
d packet analysts. Along the way\, we'll use Wireshark to examine how post
-quantum cryptography appears on the wire and what to look for in real-wor
 ld network captures.
